If you’re interested in joining the Devlin lab, please read below.
CURRENT OPENING: The Devlin lab has openings for postdoctoral fellows (current as of September 27, 2021). Candidates with backgrounds in chemical biology, cell biology, chemistry (particularly analytical chemistry/mass spectrometry), or microbiology are encouraged to apply. Interested candidates should email Professor Devlin directly.
Our lab provides a welcoming and supportive environment in which to do science, and Professor Devlin supports postdocs interested in a range of career trajectories.
Postdoctoral candidates should contact Professor Devlin via email with a cover letter indicating goals and interests, CV, and research statement (past and current work). We also request that a letter of recommendation from the graduate advisor be sent separately on his/her behalf. Candidates with experience in synthetic organic chemistry, molecular biology, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, and/or microbiology are encouraged to apply.
Graduate students currently at HMS or Harvard who are interested in rotating should contact Professor Devlin by email. Prospective graduate students should apply to the Chemical Biology or Biological and Biomedical Sciences PhD programs.
Undergraduates who are interested in conducting research at the interface of chemistry and biology should contact Professor Devlin by email.
