Our lab provides a welcoming and supportive environment in which to do science, and Prof. Devlin supports postdocs and graduate students interested in a range of career trajectories. If you’re interested in joining the Devlin lab, please read below.

Postdocs

Candidates should contact Prof. Devlin via email with a cover letter indicating goals and interests, CV, and research statement (past and current work). We also request that a letter of recommendation from the graduate advisor be sent separately on behalf of the candidate. Candidates with experience in synthetic organic chemistry, molecular biology, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, and/or microbiology are encouraged to apply. Experience with rodents (mice or rats) is a plus.

Graduate students

Graduate students currently at HMS or Harvard who are interested in rotating should contact Prof. Devlin by email. Prospective graduate students should apply to the Chemical Biology or Biological and Biomedical Sciences PhD programs.

Undergraduate students

Undergraduates who are interested in conducting research at the interface of chemistry and biology should contact Prof. Devlin by email.
